Who is a Star Seeker? A Star Seeker is a sustaining donor who supports the work of Godly Play. Much like the wise ones, on their journey to the Christ child, we are on a journey to follow the WILD STAR that will lead us to paths unknown and dreams bigger than we can imagine.  

Why? We believe every child deserves access to sacred spaces where they can make meaning and find purpose in their spiritual journey through story, wondering, and deep play. 

We have BIG DREAMS! Dreams like:

  • Supplementing costs for materials so more children, particularly in underserved communities, have access to beautiful, lasting materials to facilitate deep play and creativity. 

  • Eliminating financial barriers and increasing educational opportunities in order to facilitate a diverse network of adults in churches, schools, hospitals, care facilities, social service agencies and more, with a deep understanding of the dignity and spiritual capacity of children, and a commitment to advocate for the centrality of children’s spirituality in their communities. 

  • Being a leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion so that every child who comes close to Godly Play encounters a felt sense of their inherent worth and dignity as one fully created in God’s image.
