Job Title: Administrative assistant (remote- Living in United States)
Organization: For nearly 30 years, the Godly Play Foundation has been cultivating a network of adults around the globe committed to nurturing the spiritual lives of children. Through storytelling resources, training, mentoring, and research, we help leaders in churches, schools, hospitals, and social service agencies build spaces for children to explore their spiritual lives through story, wondering, and play. Godly Play is a Montessori-inspired and unique approach to Christian education grounded in the belief that children have innate spiritual experiences and connections with God. We see the work of children’s spiritual formation to be about the nurtured exploration of their relationship with God.
Team: We are a small staff of eight across the United States. We are a flexible and innovative team, and, in all our work, we intentionally collaborate with each other taking a team-approach to serving our mission. As a small team, we work together to contribute to a wide range of mission-centered work through our shared commitment to Godly Play.
Role: The position will play a significant role in providing administrative support to all the Godly Play Foundation departments. We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-starting, customer service-oriented individual to ensure that Godly Play practitioners receive the information and support they need to support children in their communities.
Reports to: Executive Director or Director of Operations
DUTIES
Database Management and Support:
Update and maintain donor records
Support the donor recognition process
Input events to events management system
Communications:
Assist in sending out regular e newsletters
Create flyers for marketing purposes
Provide light copy editing
Respond to social media inquiries
Monitor 3 Foundation wide-emails and triage customer service queries.
Answer the phones. Respond to general inquiries and forward specific requests to appropriate departments
Update website with current information and events
Administrative Support:
Facilitate contract signatures through our e-signature platform
Support planning for in person events including identifying rental facilities, catering, supply gathering, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must be U.S. residents. We prefer a candidate with residency in California, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts., North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.
The ideal candidate will have some practical experience with or awareness of Godly Play.
Experience with one or more of our existing platforms is a plus. The Godly Play Foundation tech stack includes

Part-time non-exempt position (15 hours per week)
100% remote work
Salary and Benefits:
Salary beginning at $22/hour
Retirement (3% employer contribution to a 401(k))
Generous vacation, sick, and holiday time including the week between Christmas and New Years Off

Job Title: Shipping Support Staff (Ashland, KS)

Role: This role is in-person in Ashland, KS. Shipping Support Staff supports the operations of Godly Play Resources, a division of Godly Play Foundation. This member of the team primarily completes tasks related to receiving, inventory management, and shipping.
Reports to: Shipping Coordinator
DUTIES
Inventory Support
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Count and put away inventory
Assemble and package prints and groups of materials for shipping
Ensure safety and organization in warehouse by maintaining clear walkways, de-cluttering package detritus, breaking down boxes and placing them in the dumpster, etc.
Assist with quarterly inventory counts
Assist with maintaining a clean office space
Shipping Support
Pull customer orders in accordance with a packing list
Carefully package customer orders to prevent breakage in transit
Label customer orders for shipment
Drop off orders at the Post Office or prepare them for UPS pickup
Other tasks as assigned by the Shipping Coordinator
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Attention to detail and ability to recognize SKU numbers and discern variants, such as differences in color and size)
Active listening
Computer literacy
Ability to handle physical demands of the role, which will include near-constant movement (standing, walking, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching)
Ability to safely lift and carry. The team member in this role will regularly lift packages and containers averaging 25lbs, and may occasionally be tasked with heavy lifting. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Terms of Employment
Part-time hourly position (12 hours per week, with potential for more hours during busy times)
100% on-site work in Ashland, Kansas
Pay and Benefits:
$15 per hour
Schedule flexibility: The set weekly schedule for this role will be determined in consultation with the hire and is flexible within regular business hours.
